Chairman - Bart A. Bardsley

Since 1977, Mr. Bardsley has been exclusively engaged in all facets of the management of real estate properties in Western Canada. He attended the Constantine College in Middlesborough, England and obtained his degree in electrical engineering, subsequently working in this capacity with British Rail.

He immigrated to Canada in 1977 and has since been exclusively engaged in all facets of property management and real estate development in Western Canada.

He is thoroughly conversant with commercial, residential, office, condominium/strata, and industrial and retail property management.

Mr. Bardsley has a long-standing relationship with Alberta Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, acting as receiver manager on a number of projects dating back to 1985. A majority of these projects are still under management by York West who are working closely with the new ownership groups.

Through his personal involvement in the day-to-day operations, Mr. Bardsley guides his team of qualified managers with skill and enthusiasm. He is continually ensuring that the high standards owners and tenants have come to expect from York West are met.

 

President - Darrell R. Bull, C.A.

Mr. Bull, as co-owner of York West, brings a wealth of accounting experience to the firm. Mr. Bull graduated from the University of Calgary in 1983 with a bachelor of Commerce degree. He then continued on in accounting and auditing with Thorne Riddell (now KPMG). Mr. Bull achieved his Chartered Accountants designation in 1985 with his term of service requirement being reduced by one year due to the high marks achieved. Mr. Bull spent 12 years as Vice President; finance of York West Asset Management Group Inc.

Mr. Bull became President of York West Asset Management Group Inc. in 2003 and will be instrumental in the financial and property management operations of the company.

 

Controller - Bonnie Nosaluk

Mrs. Nosaluk has over seventeen years of experience in the Real Estate industry including the last fourteen years with York West. Mrs. Nosaluk has extensive accounting and property management expertise, with proficiency in several of the top property management software systems, in addition to a variety of spreadsheet programs such as Lotus and Excel. Mrs. Nosaluk supervises the day-to-day accounting operations of the York West property management portfolio and is responsible for the accuracy and timelines of the accounting reporting. She can effectively match the needs of each and every property, always ensuring the highest standards are met.

 
Executive Vice President - Doug Wyenberg

Doug is the vice-president and co-owner of York West and is in charge of company operations. He is a commissioner for oaths. As a property manager for many years with York West Management Group Ltd. he has a great deal of knowledge and experience with all facets of property management. Doug has been heavily involved for many years in commercial, residential and condominium management. Doug has also worked in the contracting field, which gives him in depth knowledge and skills in the contracting and maintenance fields. Doug's high standard of achieving top notch operations performance in all aspects will continue in the future. As a co-owner of York West he will ensure that the respect that has been created by York West's tradition of excellence will be maintained and enhanced for the benefit of all clients.

 

Senior Vice President - Mitch Bardsley

Mr. Bardsley joined the firm in 1982 in the capacity of landscape supervisor, attended various courses on maintenance, and in 1987 assumed the role of Manager, Maintenance Services. He has a background in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and interim refurbishment, and now supervises a staff of in excess of 20 maintenance personnel. Mr. Bardsley's maintenance experience has proven a valued asset in providing our property managers with accurate and free of charge advice in respect to maintenance considerations within the properties they manage.

 
Personnel

Our administrative and support team consists of Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers, various Accounting Personnel, Receptionists, Administrative Assistants and On-Site Staff. In order to help meet each of our clients' specific needs, York West has adopted a continuing education policy for all personnel coupled with further on-job, "hands on" experience. The stronger our employees, the more able we are to serve our clients.

The dedicated team of Property Management Professionals at York West is pleased to provide all these services, including additional service from accredited individuals who have professional designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM), Registered Property Administrator and Chartered Accountant (CA).
